#TEDxLeicester CARPE DIEM - EVENT CANCELLATION NOTICE
A Message from TEDxLeicesterSalon:

It is with regret that the TEDxLeicester Team announce the cancellation of the "Carpe Diem" - Seize the Day event scheduled for the 21st of June.

Due to personal and business reasons two of our speakers have had to cancel at the very last moment. They have both have expressed their disappointment and regret at the late notice given and wish to offer their sincere apologies.

The TEDxLeicester team would also like to express our disappointment and apologies for this unexpected late notice to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control.

We had close to 200 guests attending and wish to offer all our guests who bought a ticket either a full refund or, with our compliments, as a gesture of good will and in the spirit of TEDx, a free ticket (valued at £50) to attend our main TEDxLeicester Event for the 26th October- -“Every Journey Matters”.

This consists of a full day of #IdeasWorthSpreading from 15 speakers and performers, lunch and full access to the event, exhibits and reception.

Please do let us know your preferred choice by 21st June NOON.

WHAT IS TEDx?

What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxLeicester, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxLeicester event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
