CountDown is a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. 

The goal: to build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world. A world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone. TED and the global TEDx tribe have joined this mission and TEDxLeicester is delighted to be able to bring this initiative to Leicester and the wider community it serves.

On 20.10.2020 our team of volunteers, led by Siddhi Trivedi, Director and Curator TEDxLeicester, will launch a carefully curated and produced an exciting mix of speakers and entertainers that will help us build a better future by cutting greenhouse emissions in half by 2030.
