‘The Day After Tomorrow’ - A TEDxLeicesterSalon

TEDxLeicester Salons -  half-day discussions - building on the success of www.tedxleicester.com

17th March 2016, BEN LT1 - Bennett Upper Ground Floor Lecture Theatre, Bennett Building, The University of Leicester, University Road, Leicester, LE1 7RH

‘The Day After Tomorrow’

What do you think of the future? With our world becoming increasingly complex and filled with environmental, political, economic and social challenges, new solutions and technologies might be the answer to our rapidly evolving world. AlphaGo, drones, online education, and machine labours, where will you be in the next five or ten years?

This official TEDxLeicesterSalon will feature three riveting guest speakers, each of whom will present concepts from vastly different disciplines. The main focus will be on the innovative ways of thinking, and how it can help us better understand the future.

Your exciting task as a guest is to join the conversation afterwards by sharing your thoughts on each concept in an open panel-style discussion. All you need to bring is an open mind and a friend, see you there!
